– Solidify your bugout plan if you think you can escape the city after SHTF but before the mob is aware
– Fortify your home if you don’t have a bug-out plan

– Make sure you can generate power when the grid goes down (solar, gas generator, propane generator etc)
– Stock up on food and water preps, as much as possible
– Stock up on durable medical gear (first-aid supplies)
– Stock up on your meds, as best as possible
– Stock up on ammo, as much as possible
– Get weapons training and practice, practice, practice
– Get first-aid training
– Prepare a family rendezvous plan if you’re scattered when SHTF comes to your town
– Get your comms sorted out to maintain contact with your family/group when the internet and cell service go down
– Set aside some charity food, water, and self protection gear (cheap pistol and ammo)
