In 1991 when I was a young Sergeant of Marines getting ready to EAS out of the Corps the week before Desert Thunder/Storm, there was an intense discussion in congress and the DOD of what shape and composition the military should take;
Low Intensity Conflict, “Military Interventionism” aka Two- and One-Half Major Wars, Expeditionary Warfare, Asymmetric Warfare, etc.
I disagreed with some of the staff officers in that office discussion, and my boss, Brigadier General Paul Van Riper, asked me what I thought would be coming. My answer – civil war within the next twenty-five to thirty years. I laid out my reasoning, mainly the racial fracturing of society that was evident even back then and visible within the ranks.
So, 1991+30 = 2021
Not bad for a dumbass enlisted swine with no degree and no strategic think tanks to fall back on, I suppose.
Fourth Generation Warfare and Asymmetric Warfare

We know that Osama Bin Laden and AQ were studying both of these because after action reports from Tora Bora indicated printed documents studying these practices found in the caves. More importantly, the jihadists were using the tactics against us and having success.
Networks were found here in the states of Muslim men engaging with American women, generating income, and laundering money through pizza houses. Anyone that travels the interstates frequently will see the convoys of used cars and pickups headed south. There were reports that many of these vehicles were used in VBIED attacks on our troops in the Middle East.
Southern Border
While I was a contributing editor at the late Colonel David Hackworth’s Defense Watch, I wrote an article “The War on Our Southern Border” dealing with our failures back in 2001 under President George W. Bush to secure our border and the implications. It still exists online if you’re really good at accessing archived information on the internet. Only ONE TIME in the last TWENTY YEARS have we come close to securing our border and HERE WE ARE AGAIN. Only this time the enemy walks among us.
We have TRAITORS IN OUR GOVERNMENT actively SUBVERTING our country.
We’re very close to the momentum point of no-return on our country being overthrown Sun-Tzu style, without firing a shot.
Here we are at our Russia-Ukraine moment, and that begs the question:
WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?
Our country has been invaded from without and within. As of this writing we are ceding land in the states of Texas and New Mexico in El Paso and Sunland Park to Mexican Cartels, the US Border Patrol has openly stated they don’t control the mountains in that area, the cartels do.
Anyone that hasn’t noticed Michigan and Minnesota are Islamic enclaves and have been for years now isn’t seeing. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know where the first SIX-THOUSAND Hamas refugees have been sent to?
The FBI has mapped out where the Mexican cartels are around the country. Their useful idiots from the transnational gangs are strewn across the fruited plains. And keeping watch on everyone are the Chinese and Russian intelligence/military assets.
Final Thoughts
When does the point come that we have our citizenry, political, legal and law enforcement communities start to disassemble these networks?
Honestly, I don’t think we’re capable of it anymore.
The “professionals” don’t want anything except money from the citizenry because we’re all a bunch of militia loons, yet none of them will actually get off of their taxpayer funded asses and lock these bastards up before the militias have no other choice than to defend homes, communities and country.
So, I have to ask, is this TRULY the shape of things to come?
