It seems we have entered a new era. We probably had sporadic presidencies that bowed continually to special interests, but nothing like what we are seeing now: incompetents and puppets assuming office one after the other.
We are in a curious time when leaders no longer listen to voters. In fact, they are ignored. Who is calling the shots? Certainly no longer the people. The Democrats’ affinity for DEI, I’m sure, has something to do with it.
Obama delivered billions in cash to Iran in the middle of the night. The money is transported to Israel in the form of bombs and missiles. To this day, Biden relaxed Iran’s oil sanctions, allowing Iran to rake in billions. Biden’s inaugural speech was filled with unity and peace, but his administration was filled with division, war cries, and economic woes. We saw Biden signing a pile of executive orders, and he asked, “What am I signing?” Harris is given the authority to control the border and then does nothing. And now she wants more authority. Walz runs around the country acting like a clown with a giant bow tie and big shoes.
Our government has become a collection of Little League baseball teams in which everyone wins a trophy. Biden left Afghanistan without even taking our luggage with him, leaving billions of dollars worth of military equipment, much of it brand new. This is an administration that ignores the migrant crime they inflicted on us while he sleeps safely behind a wall he will not let us have, calling us racist for bringing it to their attention.
The Democrat Party has severed all ties to the American people.
Never underestimate the incompetence of government.
James Cook
We did get a break with President Trump. He didn’t owe anything to anybody, and they are making him pay dearly, especially now. But he’s willing to pay it.
This puppet show includes the self-centered, the liar, the greedy, and the criminal. Include the non-orator, the inarticulate VP who doesn’t want to answer any questions but still wants to be president. Give her a mansion, and a private jet, she’ll do anything you ask. Indeed, these people are everywhere. Particularly now, these scoundrels have saturated our government from the top down, granting numerous individuals a license to act solely in their self-interest.
Our government, and no doubt many others, are loaded with career politicians that slowly, through the years, develop a sort of gang mentality. They no longer please or even try to please the good people that sent them there. They develop a sort of code that puts them above everyone else, and their goals change to only please one another. They slowly erode the very foundations of their governments until they are no longer recognizable, in order to avoid causing too much immediate alarm.
A prime example is Senator Tester of Montana. He’s running for a fourth term and not doing well. Montanans are finally realizing that in a dark red state you don’t vote like you represent California.
In the USA, we now have a government that is perpetually on autopilot. It’s heading in a direction no one voted for. These government agencies do what they want, no matter how we vote. They respond to no one. Answer to no one. Our country seems to be under remote control, with our ‘leaders’ functioning as mere puppets.
Hurricane Helene brought death and massive destruction to the Southeast, and all the government can do is offer $750 to victims because they spent all the FEMA money on illegal aliens. Much of the supplies of food and water are coming from private citizens and Christian organizations like Samaritan’s Purse.
Government bureaucracies always do what is to their advantage, and if feigning incompetence works to their advantage, they do it. The puppet masters always make it worth their while.
Incompetence is the true crisis.
Albert Einstein
The Left, in rationalizing their hatred of America, likes to point out that our founders are old racist white men. They were anything but. The men that founded this greatest of all nations were yes, white men, but young, educated, God-fearing, wise, and dedicated to the proposition that ‘all men are created equal’ and that mankind and government institutions are basically evil but capable of good. Not the other way around. So, to them, self-government with control mechanisms was the key to a favorable government. Yes, they had obstacles, and challenges they knew were going to rear their ugly heads in the future, but for their time in history, they were revolutionary.
In the colonies, British colonial policies established slavery as an accepted practice. Africans were all too willing to sell their people for a favorable price. The founders knew it had a life expectancy, but in the meantime, the economic order was maintained for the time being. The unification of the colonies and the creation of an independent nation took precedence.
The United States was and remains a work in progress. Steve Jobs did not invent the personal computer with 2 terabytes of data memory, 24 GB of video memory, and computing power with 16 cores, 32 threads, and 5.7 GHz of power. The first personal computer had a CPU (central processing unit) of 8 MHz (effectively 6 MHz with 1 core), a memory of 128 KB, a 3.5″ floppy, and a 9 inch monochrome monitor. All for only $2,495. $7,500 in today’s money. 5.7 GHz is equal to 5700 MHz. My first computer was with a 286 processor (12 MHz), a 20 MB hard drive, and a VGA color monitor. WOW!
Once the idea of a personal computer took flight, there was no stopping it.
Stupid liberals will bitterly complain that our founders were the worst human beings. I don’t mean to be cruel when I say stupid, but liberals have a rigid point of view, and instead of looking for what really happened, they provide little tidbits of dumb information they got from some dumb author who makes outrageous assumptions. If you want to find out what happened or what the founders’ intentions were, I suggest you read their letters to each other.
For instance, they will say we purposely conquered an entire continent of peaceful tribes of indigenous peoples. Tell that to the numerous tribes conquered and harassed by the three most feared tribes in America—the Iroquois, the Apache, and the Comanche. They killed, raped, and took slaves. Human beings’ disgraceful practices are universal around the world. It’s amazing that I have to explain that to many ‘educated’ liberals.
Excuses are tools of the incompetent.
Mike Tomlin
Who’s controlling the strings? My theory is that it is the usual suspects—globalist godless oligarchs, New World Order types. They want to take over the planet for our (their) own benefit. Of course, their job will be made much easier because they plan on making sure most of us are dead. They did say numerous times that 500 million people would be the ideal population of earth, and, coincidently, that would be the number of people in a technocracy that would be required to serve their every need.
In the unlikely event that Kamala Harris is elected president, we will find out soon enough who is controlling the strings. And I’m sure it will be bad news because too many people didn’t care enough to ask or bother themselves to pay attention.
With governments seemingly on autopilot, voters being ignored, crime out of control, economies crumbling, war on the horizon, and Western countries taking in millions and millions of unvetted migrants, many with disparate cultures, with no end in sight except for a few countries that insist on preserving their identity, you have to believe that, as Sherlock Holmes would say, something is afoot.
