I’ve written extensively about fear, managing fear, and how it affects everything we think and do.
In my article, PRESUMED COMPLIANCE (1993), I wrote:
“How we feel affects how we think, how we think affects how we feel, and both influence how and when we move.” (We can expand this to include “what we do.”)
In the era of Mass Formation Psychosis – which big tech and the government informed us was ‘fake news’ 🤯
(Of course, they did.)
–it’s clear that fear has been weaponized.
What’s this got to do with self-defense?
If you can’t manage your fear, you will not manage the fight.
So whether it’s a fight with a bully, or the fight for your livelihood, your family, or your health… managing fear is everything because the mind navigates the body and you will not move efficiently or effectively if you’re in the ‘fear loop’.
Below is one of the first podcasts I did for the KNOW FEAR® Podcast.
It was recorded on Oct 17, 2017. Listen to it and you’ll be amazed by the insights and observations of Simon Bell.
We’re all victims of fear. Project Fear has been with us for hundreds of years. So far, we have made little attempt to map fear or understand how it is used.
In his book, graphic novel, and animation, The Open University’s Simon Bell finds out how fear is weaponized and targeted and how to avoid making things worse. CLICK HERE TO READ THE ARTICLE.
