Naturally, both the United States and Russia have security concerns. Russia opted to safeguard its borders against NATO’s expansion along its Western frontier through a full-scale ground war that is now in its 5th year. The fighting persists with significant military actions from both sides continuing, resulting in substantial casualties and geopolitical tensions that have further complicated international relations.
The United States opted to safeguard its sovereignty and security by communicating to Europe its disinterest in a globalist government. This approach included efforts to neutralize Venezuela and combat its drug trade, employing tariffs to protect U.S. trade, and leveraging its technological and tactical capabilities to counter Iran’s nuclear ambitions and radical Islamist activities. The latter strategy has taken five weeks to effectively implement.
Undoubtedly, Russia holds a dominant position in the parts of eastern Ukraine that they desired, where the population is predominantly Russian rather than Ukrainian.
Russian losses in Ukraine have been staggering. According to British sources, approximately 1,118,000 were killed, wounded, or missing so far. Ukraine sources put the number at 1,306,500. CNN says about 1.2 million. The Russian Navy has lost 33 ships plus 2 submarines. Aircraft losses are at 435, plus 350 helicopters. They have lost approximately 4,000 tanks (AI), 40,000 artillery pieces, and 25,000 armored fighting vehicles.
Russia is now experiencing significant challenges in their military strategy and operational effectiveness, especially regarding any prolonged conflict.
The United States has effectively ended Iran’s plans to obtain any nuclear weapons and severely diminished its ability to attack Israel. Most of Iran’s leaders have been killed; they no longer have a navy, an air force, or a single hair of a competent army. In short, their military has been rendered ineffective. But they still play duplicitous games in coming to a form of agreement, often using negotiations as a tactic to buy time while they continue to pursue their strategic goals.
President Trump has to speak to them in the only language they understand…violence! Unlike other presidents, Trump has never targeted dual-use infrastructure! It is amazing that so many analysts are shocked and dismayed at the language Trump uses. It’s almost as if they just arrived from outer space and have no context.
Iran has not only been a regional threat but also a world threat for the last 47 years. They have killed thousands of Americans, avowed to destroy Israel, wipe Jews off the world map, destroy what they call ‘The Great Satan,’ the United States, and dismantle Western civilization from within and without. Islamists have been most effective in Europe, where they are well on their way to dominating that continent, particularly through their spread of radical ideologies, Europe’s open border policies, lack of assimilation among Islamists, and establishment of networks that undermine local governance.
Considering Iran and their proxies’ advances in weaponry and terrorist activity, there is no way we could allow Iran to have nuclear weapons. They would use them without reservations.
Our losses are always troubling, but by any measure, they are relatively light. We’ve lost a total of 14 personnel, 6 of whom were from the refueling accident, and 1 non-combat-related death in Kuwait, the cause of which is undetermined. (Wikipedia) We lost 1 refueling tanker from an accident, 3 F-15 aircraft from friendly fire in Kuwait, and 1 F-15 in Iran from a missile launch. 12 Reaper drones were damaged, and 1 F35 was reportedly damaged. Kuwait and Qatar have suffered damage to three ground radar systems. Reportedly, there was a non-combat-related fire aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford carrier. (Times of India)
Europe (NATO) has declined to help in the disarmament of Iran or aid the people of that beleaguered country. Europe shows little interest in defending themselves, their culture, or helping America, which has led to a perception of weakness and a lack of power in international affairs. They are quickly becoming irrelevant. The new power of Europe is showing itself in Eastern Europe, as countries in that region are increasingly asserting their independence and influence in global affairs.
The Western world should feel a sense of reprieve from countries like China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran. Trump is displaying American power like no other president in our history. Venezuela and Cuba are on the verge of rebirth. Russia remains entrenched in Ukraine, suffering ongoing losses.
Iran has been neutralized and is likely facing regime change, which would result in a significant shift in regional policy. China is in a deflationary cycle. They have serious debt problems and a severe property market slump. Muslim terrorists are on the run. Hezbollah is experiencing an existential crisis. Hamas has been diminished. Our borders are secure. Illegal alien criminals are being deported. Manufacturing is returning. We are once again energy-independent.
The Democrats are there, skulking, forever complaining about Trump. They doth protest too much, now complaining that Europe is scared of what Trump is doing. Europe, like the Democrats, is scared of everything and has become feeble and a liability. We defend Europe and absorb $200 billion in annual trade deficits. Trump, understandably, sees little value in NATO membership. While they do nothing, Trump is rebooting the world in our favor by renegotiating trade agreements and strengthening our nation and alliances that prioritize American interests.
A strong America is like having life insurance for the free world. Rejoice!
