The Pentagon has told every major base in the lower 48 to run 90 days with no civilian power, water, fuel or communications. Fox News Digital reviewed the FORTRESS documents on October 25. The man who built the program calls depending on your town’s utilities an intolerable risk.
Your local base runs on the same utility you do. Same wires, same water plant, same fuel trucks. FORTRESS pays to cut that tie with microgrids, battery banks and small nuclear reactors. Fort Benning is slated for three of them, the first running in 2028.
When the base islands, its reactors feed the base. The water plant on the same feeder stays dark. The fuel trucks that topped off the base haul to whoever holds a contract. The plan, the program office and the reactor money are confirmed. The 90-day number rests on the documents Fox reviewed.
The men planning the next war expect your grid to fail for three months, and they’re buying reactors so it won’t stop them. Nobody is buying you one.
The risk for your family is a house, a well pump and a fuel tank that all stop the minute the civilian grid stops, with no plan past the three days one red gas can lasts.
This week: run your house on backup for 72 hours this weekend. Count your stored water against ninety days tonight. Open a bulk fuel account this week.
