I Read This Quote And It Stopped Me Cold.
Reread what Dali wrote carefully:
“Every morning upon awakening, I experience a supreme pleasure: that of being Salvador Dali, and I ask myself, wonderstruck, what prodigious thing he will do today, this Salvador Dali.”
At first, I thought, “What a curious thing to say about yourself – who writes of themself in the third person? Curious, but interesting.”
My second read took me deeper.
And then I got it…
You can choose to be amazed by you (or not).
And it’s actually a wonderful POV.
You have no choice but to be YOU.
– The story you tell yourself is the story you sell yourself.
– What’s your narrative?
– Do you believe in yourself?
After reflecting, I read the quote again and it made me smile and I said to myself:
“What will I do tomorrow?”
Decide Your History Before It’s History.
– What’s your vision?
– What’s your mission?
– What will you do to reinvent yourself?
See it, now make it happen.
As the expression goes:
“You have no choice but to be you, everyone else is taken.” 😉
Be excited to be you.
What will you do tomorrow?
