Bad Guys Only Want 1 of 3 Things

I Get Emotional When I Teach Self-Defense.

Why?

Because I hate violence.

But I also hate that so many people avoid learning practical skills …

And I get frustrated by those who confuse martial arts with real violence.

Remember Our Three D’s:

  1. DETECT & Avoid
  2. DEFUSE & De-escalate
  3. DEFEND & Protect (as a last resort)

Most martial arts ONLY focus on the D3 part of the equation and that’s a problem because if you have ‘no awareness/you pretty much have no chance’.

In the spirit of making you and your loved ones safer, sometimes the most effective way to get an idea across is to shock a realization into people so they aren’t the next victim.

So embrace my direct, blunt, and colorful language in the videos …

Speaking of which, have you seen part one of my ATM videos HERE?

Bad Guys Only Want 1 Of 3 Things:

Property, Body, or Life.

Our psychological and behavioral approach to self-defense helps you key into the scenario and use the DEVALUE PRINCIPLE to create the optimal strategy.

While there were many important tips in both videos, the most important thing is for you to always be thinking about D1 – Detect & Avoid.

For the ATM, these are the two questions you need to be asking:

  1. Is this the ‘best’ ATM for you right now?
  2. Or is it the ‘best’ ATM for your mugger?

Stay tuned for more information on how to train and prepare yourself to avoid, diffuse or win a confrontation.
