5 Firearms for the Prepared

You should own 5 firearms as tasks & purposes vary & not one weapon can effectively address them all. Choose calibers that are widely available, think supply/demand/bartering. Stock ammo for training & in the event of shortages. Have 7 times the amount of ammo the weapon’s magazine/tube holds.

》Handgun, i.e. Glock 19 9mm⁣. (for concealment, backup weapon, mid range)⁣. Carry an extra mag.

》Shotgun, i.e. Mossberg 500 12 Gauge⁣⁣. (for home defense, bird hunting, intimidation factor, close range)⁣. Store spare shells in/on stock.

》.22 Rifle, i.e. Ruger 10/22 .22 LR⁣. (for small game hunting, pest control, target shooting, cheap ammo)⁣. Consider magazine-fed.

》Semi-Automatic Rifle AR-15, i.e.Colt 5.56x45mm NATO⁣⁣. (for defense, hunting, best overall option)⁣. Add mounted flashlight, red dot sight.

》Long Range Rifle, i.e. Winchester M70 .308 Winchester⁣⁣. (for big game hunting, long range, perimeter defense). Add a raised scope to allow iron sights’ use.
